Emotional Intelligence Coaching
I am an accredited practitioner for Multi-Health Systems EQi assessments, the world leader in Emotional Intelligence testing. I use their comprehensive assessment to benchmark your Emotional Intelligence against professionals or leaders based on geography and age to give you an accurate picture of your level of EQi (Emotional Quotient Inventory) relative to your peers.
What is Emotional Intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively determine how we perceive and express ourselves. Increasingly studied and referenced as a key skill to learn for success and an attribute that will be in increasing demand, emotional intelligence is still frequently overlooked as a skill that can be explicitly measured and developed. Emotional intelligence has in fact been proven to be a key indicator of human performance and development.
Why is Emotional Intelligence important?
Whilst developing your professional expertise and knowledge is important to furthering your career, developing your EQi is one of the most valuable things you can do to help you navigate the workplace and achieve your career goals in London’s ever-changing business environment.
Developing your EQi helps you in all areas of your life and helps you relate to people in a more productive, healthier, easier way and more quickly establish rapport and influence.
Understanding your strengths and weaknesses allows you to choose roles and take on responsibilities that play to your strengths whilst being mindful of the biases that you have that may hold you back.
How can Emotional Intelligence coaching benefit me?
Emotional Intelligence is a skill that you can quickly develop through targeted coaching and practice. Developing your EQi allows you to:
Become more aware about your own responses to situations and how they may come across to others
Identify your EQ strengths and how they can help you
Identify your blindspots and natural biases in behaviour that may trip you up in your career
Better navigate internal politics and interpersonal relationships
Find a role that highly values your natural EQ profile, allowing you to thrive and succeed
The EQi 2.0 model addresses five composite areas with fifteen subscales, covering areas such as Empathy, Stress Tolerance, Emotional Self-Awareness and Emotional Expression. See more information on the model and a sample report.
